Inuit Art Mobile Exhibition

Celebrating Winnipeg Art Gallery--Qaumajuq's world class collection of Inuit Art, this fully accessible exhibition offers an exciting selection of original prints, textiles, stone sculptures, and stories that will allow visitors of all ages to experience a greater understanding of Inuit art and culture, the land, and its people. This is a different exhibition this year.

Nakatamaakewin (na-kah-tah-MAA-kaywin) is a Michif word meaning "to leave something behind". Honoring our location on the homeland of the Métis nation, this mobile exhibition and program serves to leave lasting inspiration and learning to those who experience it.

Highlights of this exhibit are it's FREE, it is open to people of all ages, it has a fully accessible vehicle, there will be a content expert on site, an activity booklet and all elements are bilingual (English and French).

Join us this coming Wednesday, July 6 between the hours of 10:00am and 3:00pm at the Tiger Hills Arts in Holland, Manitoba. This event is open to the public. Group tours are welcome.
